There was a time when grandparents did not need apps to remind them to slow down, practise mindfulness, or take care of their mental well-being.

Their days followed a rhythm that seemed simple from the outside. They woke up early, spent time with nature, ate slowly, valued rest, and found meaning in small everyday rituals.

To many of us growing up, these habits may have looked old-fashioned. We questioned why they saved things instead of replacing them, why they insisted on eating at fixed times, or why they spent so much time sitting quietly in the morning.
