The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will close the application process for Assistant Teacher (Associated Primary) recruitment 2026 today, November 4. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied can submit their application forms through the official commission website.The recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement No. 05/2026 to fill 12,405 Assistant Teacher (Associated Primary) vacancies in the Secondary Education Department.The commission extended the application deadline from October 28 to November 4 through a notice.Candidates should complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid last-minute problems.

Two additional qualifications introduced
The commission has also revised the eligibility criteria by adding two more educational qualifications for candidates applying for the posts.Candidates holding either of the following qualifications can apply, subject to the prescribed recruitment conditions:
- A two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
- A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree.
Candidates should check the detailed notification to confirm whether they meet all the eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.
Correction window and exam details
Candidates who submit their application forms will also get an opportunity to make corrections.
